Underestimated exposure to asbestos: Many do-it-yourselfers unknowingly put themselves at risk

"Warning of 'asbestos wave': 9.4 million homes in Germany are 'asbestos traps' when renovated" - this was the title of a press release recently published by the Industriegewerkschaft Bauen-Agrar-Umwelt (IG BAU), an industrial trade union, launching an information offensive on the subject of asbestos.
